Ok… so I got a little overwhelmed with the pre-Thanksgiving prep and lost track of my countdown. I was very disappointed that this happened, but at the same time I decided that I rule my own personal blogging universe and I’m using my ‘powers’ to post date these next couple of posts so that I can continue to rave about the things I am most grateful for even after the holiday.
The next thing I’ve decided to feature would be our current jobs. In these ‘scary economic’ times, we’ve been blessed with great jobs and amazing opportunities and we recognize that this blessing is not available to all.
First, I would like to thank and congratulate NATE for working his tail off to get a job that will challenge and stretch him professionally in every way. I’m proud of him for not ‘cowering in the face of danger’ and I’m grateful that this opportunity came along and that those responsible for choosing him decided to give Nate a chance. Way to go, baby!
And secondly, I’m incredibly grateful for the job that has come to me to work for State Farm Insurance. I never would have thought that I would work in the Insurance industry, but the opportunity came along with a perfect location, perfect pay, perfect traveling arrangements, perfect schedule, perfect benefits. Along with that came the means with which I was able to get licensed in property and casualty… another great asset to have for our future.

Harmatia - CONGRATS MY DEAR! I was so happy to see you read my blog.I know the grammar isnt all there. Somehow between the moves I missed that part of elementary school. I have to tell you that picture of the hummingbird made me think of that line "hummingbird heartbeat." I am so proud of you getting your license and all those triathalons. It inspired me to get into shape and try to do one of those myself.
God bless you and god bless our friendship that will grow along with our waistbands.
Loves and hugs,
Nellie
